| | I'm trying to balance being a good wife and a good mom. It's really hard for me to balance these two roles... Now that my son is two years old, I want him to introduce him to more things. He's been ok with just doing the simple things with me at home...banging on the kitchen pots & bowls, looking through the cabinets, playing with his toy animals, balls, & trucks...and occasionally coloring with his crayons and playing stickers with me. But I really wanted to help him grow more so these days, I've been taking him to the library. I used to do that with him more frequently when his dad was on deployment but after he came back, I'm sad to say that I really haven't taken him that often to the library! We used to go to the park pretty frequently too...but that too has dwindled down a lot. I'm now trying to make more of an effort to take my son to places where he can interact more with kids his age and participate in his age (as well as developmental stage) appropriate games and activities.
